5 Basic Principles of the Original Gospel

5 Basic Principles of the Original Gospel

The “5 basic principles of the Original Gospel” are a set of essential doctrine based teachings that were apart of the “Original Gospel” which was taught by Christ and given to the Apostles. The Apostles were then commanded to teach all nations these essential principles for salvation (Matthew 28:19-20). These are not the only teachings that Christ gave to the world for salvation, however, a fraction of the Original teachings will be discussed. If any one of these principles are missing from your teachings, it is not the Original Gospel which was authored by Christ.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed. 2 John 9-10

DIVINE GOVERNMENT SELECTION

#1   All of those who delivered the true Gospel during Biblical times were part of the “true Church” or God’s divine structure. Since God does not change, that divine system is still well and alive today in the 21st century. It is extremely difficult for many to accept this same system, which existed during Biblical times, especially since there are so many religions different denominations, as well as so many religious leaders of these organizations. They view such systems as cultish.  Although the Pharisees were Yisra’el (Israel), they were accused of shutting up the Kingdom of Heaven by teaching incorrect doctrine.

“But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in”. Matthew 23:13

This means that those who are teaching you can possibly shut up heaven unto you, if they are not teaching the full Gospel of Christ or by teaching incorrect doctrine. This knowledge of the mystery of the Kingdom of Heaven is given to those whom the Father has set up (Jeremiah 3:13; Matthew 13:11)

“Incorrect doctrine” does not mean changing the Bible and its contents, however it includes misinterpreting scripture; changing it from its original meaning or thought. God warns Pastors that they will create a dangerous path for themselves if they teach any other interpretation than what he intended (Jeremiah 23:1). When the scriptures have been misinterpreted or man’s traditions have been combined with the true word of God, it separates God’s people from him (Matthew 15:3).

God has always had a select divine system by which he delivered his true word to. The Bible tells us that it is impossible for man to receive all of this true Gospel without the divine system. These offices must be within his Royal Family.

“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. Deut.7:6

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Eph 4:11-14

So that man would not continue to be confused by the variety of teachings by many religions and its denominations, God has chosen a holy nation of people who he would reveal his true word to through a hierarchical system (1 Corinthians 12:28). This nation of holy people will preserve not just his word but its divine interpretation. (Deut.29:1,29). Without the correct interpretation of scriptures, you do not have the Gospel.

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

#2    The Feast of Tabernacles like many of the other feast days was first introduced in the Old Testament and given first to the Children of Yisra’el (Israel)-Leviticus 23:34. Just like all of God’s Laws, statutes and commandments, those within Yisra’el (Israel) were given the responsibility of preserving God’s festivals and then blessing the entire world with them, so that they too might be blessed (Gen.28:14; Romans 1:16). The Feast of Tabernacles was given as an everlasting festival and was intended for all believers. Later on, in the New Testament, Christ is commanding his Apostles to attend this festival (John 7:2,8). Christ, who is our perfect example (1 Peter 2:21), later attended the Feast of Tabernacles with his Apostles (John 7:10-11)

The Gospel, also known as the “Apostle Doctrine”, makes it clear that Christ commanded his Apostles to go up to this festival in which the Law of Moses commanded them to attend. As “Christians” or believers in Christ, we are said to be followers of him and his word, yet, the world has rejected this principle of salvation and thus have rejected the gospel a.k.a. The Apostles Doctrine. During the “Great Commission”, the Savior of the world told his Apostles to Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..” He commanded them to go up to the Feast of Tabernacles.

So how important is the Feast of Tabernacle to our salvation? In Zechariah 14th chapter, during the Millennium Reign which is a 1000-year period when Christ shall be king over all the earth (Zech 14:9), the Bible said that anyone who is remaining on the earth at that time must come up and attend the feast of Tabernacles. If those who are remaining at that time refuse to come up and celebrate this feast, he is going to surely destroy them. If this feast is that important to him during the end time, it is definitely one of his requirements for humanity while living on earth today.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zech.9,14:16

Celebration of the 7thDay Sabbath

#3 When it comes to the 7th day Sabbath, two of the biggest misconceptions that most people have regarding it is that it was just an Old Testament observance or that it was only for the Hebrews. Others typically associate this celebration with modern day organizations such as Judaism or the 7th day Adventist.

Here are two very important facts that most believers of God’s word forget to consider. The Sabbath Day is a celebration of creation (Genesis 2:1-3) and it was a day in which he set aside for all man to observe. This is why he sanctified this day only at the end of creation. God rested upon or kept the Sabbath on the first Sabbath Day, not because he was tired after all of his creation, but to set an example for all of humanity after them to do the same. Before he had a holy nation (Yisra’el); before there were Hebrews or Jews, there was the seventh day sabbath. This was a day that was sanctified by God for man (Genesis 2:3). The Sabbath Day was made for man, so that man could enter into the Father’s rest on this day (Mark 2:27-28; Hebrews 4:10).

Despite popular opinion, God has never transferred the 7th day Sabbath to the first day of the week (Exodus 20:10; Num.23:19; Malachi 3:6 ). He commanded man to delight in the Sabbath and he would cause them to ride upon the highest places of the earth (Isa.58:13-14). This is the will of God. In the New Testament, Christ said that he did not come to do his will, but the will of the one who sent him (John 6:38). This is why as his custom was, he kept the 7th day Sabbath (Luke 4:16).

Apostle Paul, who was called to be God’s spokesman after Apostle Peter (Romans 1:1), celebrated the 7th day Sabbath (Acts 17:2) just like his predecessors.

It is said by the Prophet Isaiah, that the 7th day Sabbath will observed from week to week in the New Heavens and New Earth. Here is an excellent Bible verse that can be used to show that the Sabbath Day is in face a day which occurs on a repeated cycle and is not a time in which the saints moved into and stayed. Many prominent Pastors make a mockery out of the scriptures and twist them in a way which may appear correct. Those layman and/or novice individuals are unaware of the trickery which separates them from God.

22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. Isiah 66:22-23

UNDERSTANDING THE LAW OF MOSES

#4 The Law does not save us and it never has. It is a mere reflection of righteousness, used to show us rather or not we are living up to the standards of the creator. In the New Testament, Christ said to his disciples “If you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). There is undoubtedly a strong correlation between expressing your love for Christ and the keeping of his commandments. It was said in 1 John 2:4 “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

It should be a lifelong quest of ours to separate ourselves from sin and move closer to God. How do we do that unless we know what sin is. Apostle Paul explains “I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet (Romans 7:7). Our faith in Christ does not nullify the Law of Moses (Romans 3:31)

Years after the Crucifixion of Christ, Apostle Paul continues to reiterate an Old Testament saying of God. He said that the Law of Moses was divine and given for our benefit.

“Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7:12

God does not change (Mal.3:6) and he does not alter the things in which he has previously spoken (Psalms 89:34). Knowing this, Apostle Paul is summarizing Old Testament Bible verses when he speaks favorably about the Law of Moses. God commanded man “Keep my commandments and Live and my law as the apply of thine eye.(Proverbs 7:2)

The LAW, FAITH as well as GRACE, all must be combined so that we can be perfected and spend eternity with the Savior.

Joining the Family of God

#5 Did you know that God never established religion? What he did establish was a holy people (Deuteronomy 28:9) who he promised to give all of his Laws, statutes and promises to (Romans 9:4). He said regarding this people, “you are responsible for teaching all people upon the face of the earth to become part of my family (Genesis 28:14). This was the people of Yisra’el (Israel), who God called his sons and daughters (Isa.43:1-7). Nowhere throughout scripture does God consider any other people his sons or daughters. He also stated that these were the people whom he surnamed (Isa.45:4).  Surname is the name that a person has in common with other family members and it entitles you to benefits which are not guaranteed to non-family members. Founders of denominations named their members. God named his family (2 Kings 17:34)

Those who were graphed in with the household of God, took on the name of his Royal Family (Romans 11; Ephesians 2:11,12,19). It was never God’s desire or intentions for man to partake in religion which is man’s way of worshipping God. (Matthew15:3,8,9).

How we are actually graphed in with the household of God is something that takes more explaining, but we are here to help you.  One of the major stumbling blocks for most people comes from the question, “How do I become Israel (Jew)? Isn’t that a race? For more information, click on the link below. (Link will be here)
